MAKITA RETURNS TO EQUIP EXPO WITH MORE SOLUTIONS FOR LANDSCAPERS, ARBORISTS, HARDSCAPE AND MORE

This week in Louisville, Makita is highlighting battery-powered equipment and tools, power management solutions, premium accessories, and modular storage for greater savings and efficiency.

October 22, 2025, Louisville, KY – The Makita system of professional outdoor power equipment is on full display this week in Louisville at Equip Expo, including nine new products at the green industry’s largest annual trade show.

Demonstrations of Key Products

In addition to a fully-stocked landscaper trailer showing landscapers how they can convert their operation to battery powered equipment and realize cost-savings over gas, the Makita booth features three compelling product demonstrations.

· CUTTING: The new 40V max XGT® 20” Chain Saw (GCU08) delivers the power and performance of a 50cc gas-powered chain saw. At Equip Expo the GCU08 powered by the new 40V max XGT® 8.0Ah High Power Battery will be making fast cuts in freshly-cut white pine logs with ease.

· POWER MANAGEMENT: A four-shelf charging station will demonstrate how pros can charge batteries for 4 fleet trucks with just 2 circuits in one night, an important demonstration for owner-operators of independent mow-and-blow businesses, as well as commercial enterprises.

· STORAGE: MAKTRAK™ is the next generation in modular storage. This week Makita is showing the Equip Expo audience that MAKTRAK™ is ideal for their industry with two systems fully outfitted, one for an irrigation contractor and another for an arborist. There’s also a simulated truck bed so users can experience the unique load and unload capability of MAKTRAK™.
