MAKITA RELEASES NEW DUAL-STAGE VACUUM PUMP FOR HVAC PROS

New high-power vacuum pump enables the purging of industrial air conditioning units

Makita U.S.A. has released a portable and high-power 4 CFM Dual-Stage Vacuum Pump that allows HVAC professionals to service air conditioning units.

 August 5, 2025, La Mirada, CA – Makita U.S.A., Inc., manufacturer of high-quality professional tools, power equipment, and accessories, has released a portable and high power 4 CFM Dual-Stage Vacuum Pump that allows HVAC professionals to service air conditioning units.

High Compression, High CFM
The DVP181ZK features an oil-sealed rotary vane vacuum pump for higher performance and utilizes dual-stage compression (up to Pa3) for rapid and deeper vacuum. It delivers up to 113 L/min (4 CFM), enabling efficient vacuuming performance.
 
Additional Inlet Ports and Adapters Included
The Vacuum Pump features included inlet ports in both 5/16" and 3/8" for flexibility on the job. It also features 5/16" female to 1/4" male adapter included to further increase adaptability. The DVP181ZK features a 300 mL oil tank that allows the user longer usage between refilling.
 
Long Run Time
The DVP181ZK is powered by one 18V LXT® battery, but the battery bay holds two LXT® batteries that will run sequentially for longer run time. The two-battery system gives users up to 60 minutes of run time on two 6.0Ah batteries (sold separately). The Vacuum Pump features an electromagnetic check valve to prevent backflow even when battery depletes. The DVP181ZK operates on one battery at a time with LED indicator of which battery is in use.
 
Convenience Features
Convenience features include a compact size for portability with an overall length of 15-1/8". The DVP181ZK weighs only 18.1 lbs. with two 6.0Ah batteries (sold separately) for easier transport.
