MAKITA RELEASES NEW ACCESSORY FOR CONCRETE PROS

New Water Hose Kit allows users to cut concrete efficiently and stay OSHA compliant

October 7, 2025, La Mirada, CA – Makita U.S.A., Inc., manufacturer of high-quality professional tools, power equipment, and accessories, has released a Power Cutter Water Supply Hose (1915Y2-3) that connects Makita Sprayers to Makita Power Cutters. The Water Supply Hose allows Sprayers to be connected to Power Cutters delivering a consistent water supply for dust suppression and blade cooling when performing cuts in concrete.

Concrete Pros and OSHA Compliance

The new water supply hose is an important addition to Makita’s expanding line of concrete cutting solutions. Makita offers battery-powered 9” and 14” power cutters that deliver the performance of gas-powered models but with lower noise, less maintenance and no pull starts – as well as the ability to work indoors since there are no emissions. In addition, Makita offers battery-powered water sprayers that may be connected to Makita power cutters with the new water hose, creating a portable and pump-free system for OSHA-compliant concrete cutting.

The 1915Y2-3 is a key component for users on both the XGT® and LXT® platform to stay cordless for both efficiency and convenience. With no cords trailing back to power sources, users have the freedom and flexibility to accommodate various cutting tasks in a variety of jobsite layouts, including indoors.
