MAKITA RELEASES NEW 40V MAX XGT® COMPACT BLOWER

New Compact Blower is an ideal clean-up solution for job sites and workshops

It features three speed options for extended run time or added power. The Compact Blower features up to 30 minutes of run time on High on a single charge of a 40V XGT® 4.0Ah battery (battery not included).

June 03, 2025, La Mirada, CA – Makita U.S.A., Inc., manufacturer of high-quality professional tools, power equipment, and accessories, has released a compact, handheld clean-up solution that delivers a powerful blowing force of up to 127 CFM and 221 MPH.
 
It's powered by the same fast-charging 40V max batteries that are compatible with 170+ XGT® products.

Cordless Clean-Ups
The Compact Blower is an ideal solution for users looking for faster clean-ups and features a leading power-to-size ratio. The GBU02Z is compact at only 20-1/4" long, making it ideal for clearing workspaces and many other clean-up applications. It features three speed options for extended run time or added power. The Compact Blower features up to 30 minutes of run time on High on a single charge of a 40V XGT® 4.0Ah battery (battery not included).
 
Convenience Features
Convenience features include a rubberized soft grip handle for increased operator comfort, an 8" rubber nozzle for surface protection and added durability during storage, and the GBU02 weighs only 2.9 lbs. without battery (battery not included).
 
XGT®: One System of Cordless Equipment and Tools
The new Compact Blower is part of Makita XGT®, an expanding system of 40V max and 80V max cordless equipment and tools.
