MAKITA RELEASES TWO NEW 40V MAX XGT® OUTDOOR POWER EQUIPMENT ESSENTIALS

New Edger and Hedge Trimmer give pros more options to make the transition to cordless

XGT®: One System of Cordless Equipment and Tools

These new tools are part of Makita XGT®, an expanding system of 40V max and 80V max cordless equipment and tools. XGT® gives users one system, from core handheld tools like drills and impact drivers to professional grade outdoor power equipment – all powered by 40V max XGT® batteries. The expanding XGT® System offers over 125 products and continues to expand in 2024.

GNU01M1: The40V max XGT® 24" Articulating Pole Hedge Trimmer features a shaft that articulates with a commercial-grade design featuring 24" double-sided blades and a 115° working range for trimming of overhead and low-lying hedges. This kit version features a 40V max XGT® 4.0Ah Battery (BL4040), and Rapid Optimum Charger (DC40RA).

GEU01Z: The 40V max XGT® Edger is engineered with the high torque power of a 31cc edger and is designed with an open guard and an 8" blade (included). The Edger represents a significant upgrade to professional landscapers and lawn care pros looking to add another cordless tool to their truck or trailer.
