MAKITA LAUNCHES NEW POWERFUL LXT BRUSHLESS LAWN MOWER

August 18, 2020, La Mirada, CA – Makita U.S.A., Inc., the innovation leader in outdoor power equipment, power tools, and accessories announced the 18V X2 (36V) LXT^® Cordless 17” Lawn Mower (XML05). The compact 18” deck is ideal for detailed landscaping and the 17” cutting width provides optimal performance.

The XML05 is powered by two 18V LXT Batteries and has a Makita-built motor that delivers up to 3,600 RPM for faster cutting.

An ergonomic plastic deck weighs less, providing reduced force to push the mower. The lawn mower is capable of mulching and bagging debris. A single lever adjusts the cutting height (13/16” to 3”). Other features include a soft start for smooth start-ups and longer gear life, ball bearings in the wheels for a smoother drive, and a rubberized soft grip handle for comfort.
