MAKITA INTRODUCES FASTER 12 AMP RECIPRO SAW

The new JR3051 offers improved speed, power, and ergonomics

February 18, 2020, La Mirada, CA – Makita U.S.A., Inc., the innovation leader in power tools and accessories, has announced the launch of the new Recipro Saw (JR3051T). The powerful 12 AMP motor delivers up to 3,000 strokes per minute. This recipro saw offers improved speed, power and ergonomics to a wide range of users, including framers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, roofers, masons and general contractors.

The new JR3051T is a faster, more efficient reciprocating saw in its class, cutting up to 25% faster than the comparable Makita^® Recipro Saw, 11 AMP (JR3050T). The longer 1-3/16” stroke provides faster cutting performance.

A variable speed trigger provides the correct amount of power for a variety of applications. The large 2-finger trigger is designed for convenience. The tool-less blade change allows quick blade installation and removal. A soft grip handle and the well-balanced ergonomic design provides comfort and reduces operator fatigue. The JR3051T also features a pivoting fixed shoe and an on-board tool hook that secures the tool when not in use.
